Our patented XReflex™ fabrics utilise thin metallic layers that reflect radiating body heat not normally insulated by fibre or down insulations. HeiQ XReflex™ significantly reduces heat loss without adding weight or reducing the drape, stretch or air permeability of the fabric.
By more effectively reflecting body heat, HeiQ XReflex™ fabrics increase heat retention and allow less bulky insulation materials to be used, reducing weight, raw materials consumption and increasing breathability.
XReflex™ technology can be applied to a range of products including garments, sleeping bags, tents, footwear and more and can be optimised to suit specific customer and application requirements.
By improving the performance of synthetic insulation, HeiQ XReflex™ fabrics present a viable eco-friendly alternative to Down insulation, providing equivalent levels of warmth without the functional and environmental disadvantages.
