Responsibilities:
The Digital Ink Production Engineer – Indonesia oversees Xefco digital printing ink production activities and ensures the quality of the inks and chemistries produced for customers using Xefco’s Ausora Systems in the Indonesian region.
Duties:
Must have experience with Digital Printing Inks and Ink Formulation.
Must have experience in Pigment Printing.
- Oversee the use of the inks and chemistries at customer sites and carry out necessary testing to ensure that they meet the required quality and performance requirements.
- Engage in research and development activities along with Xefco’s Australian research and development team to innovate, develop and continuously improve Xefco’s Ausora processes.
- Coordinate with Xefco’s Australian research and development team for any non-conformance of the production outcome set by the customer. Involve in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities by investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Preparing technical reports and documentation related to processes and safety measures
- Ensure compliance, safety and waste management of the chemicals used in accordance with local laws and regulations, collaborating with Xefco’s Australian administrative team and local Indonesian advisors.
Reporting:
The Digital Ink Production Engineer – Indonesia will report to the Operations Manager of Xefco.
Requirements:
- A degree (or relevant qualification) in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering or related field.
- Experience with chemical importation, storage, and chemical compliance.
- Must have experience with digital printing inks and ink formulation.
- Desirable to have knowledge of textile materials, treatments, dyeing processes, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to present innovations to colleagues, customers, and supply chain partners (English and Bahasa preferred).
